Our recipes are cooked with minimal processing. After cooking, our recipes are then frozen to maximize freshness and shipped off to happy cats across the country.

After every feeding he gets this burst of energy and starts running around the house! And his fur is softer and more vibrant, with higher contrast. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend anything else.

How the box gets to you
All orders are processed within 6 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
If you placed your order Sunday through Wednesday, your order will ship on Thursday and deliver by Saturday. All orders placed Wednesday-Sunday will ship on Tuesday and deliver by Thursday.
- Domestic shipping rates and estimates
- We offer Free Shipping within the continental United States. Since Smalls is still growing, we're currently only able to ship within the continental United States. (Sorry Alaska and Hawaii!) Because our wet food is shipped with enough dry ice to last for just 2-3 days, it would be hard for us to guarantee freshness outside of this area-- for now.
- International shipping

- How do I check the status of my order?
- When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
- Shipping to P.O. boxes
- We do not ship to P.O. boxes.

- Can I return my open/unopened Smalls items?
- At this time, Smalls is unable to accept returns. If you have food you are unable to use, we ask you to donate to a local shelter or share with a fellow cat-owning friend! Our Cat Concierge team is here to help in any way to get your kitty transitioned, please reach out to us at any time for tips and tricks by texting us at 503-487-4303 or emailing us at meow@smalls.com!
- My item(s) arrived damaged or missing
- We stand by all our products and want them to arrive in the best condition possible. Please reach out to your Cat Concierge for assistance! We want to make sure this is corrected for you ASAP. In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at meow@smalls.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
- My fresh food arrived warm, oh no!
- We ship all of our boxes with enough coolant to last your box’s entire journey! In the rare case that your fresh food has arrived warm (no longer cool to the touch) and your box has been delivered within the expected time frame (or delayed to reasons beyond your control by the carrier), please reach out to your Cat Concierge ASAP. If your shipment has been delivered within the expected time frame but you were unable to retrieve it in time, we are unable to issue refunds or complimentary replacements.
- Smalls Mart orders
- For Smalls Mart orders, once your order has processed, we will be unable to make changes, cancel, and/or issue a refund for that box. All sales are final.
- How much Smalls should I feed my cat?
- 5 lb cats need half a packet of Smalls daily, 10 lb cats need one packet of Smalls daily, and 15 lb cats need one and a half packets of Smalls daily. For kittens, a 2 lb kitten needs 1 packet of Smalls daily, a 4 lb kitten needs 1 and a half packets daily, and a 6 lb kitten needs 2 packets daily. Please keep in mind these recommendations are guidelines and can vary based on your cat's age, health, activity levels, and any other food they consume.
- How does the Smalls subscription work?
- Once you take our personalized quiz, we’ll put together a Smalls box filled with your cats’ favorite proteins.
- How do I transition my cat to Smalls?
